For those of us MMA fans that wish we could see Charles Oliveira fight Khabib Nurmagomedov this is the fight we’ve been itching to see. I think there’s a lot more to this fight than just the lightweight championship belt and label.
The reality is that we will see a lot more Dhagastany fighters if Islam Makhachev wins. This Combat Sambo style wrestling has really been dominant but who was the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu guy that Khabib fought? Serious question!
In MMA we often see wrestlers win which is not a surprise but the dominant fashion they win in is somewhat surprising.
